  • This Nightingale badge was awarded to Nurse Eleanor Ferry, in 1940. The badge was badly damaged during a bomb attack on St. Thomas' Hospital in September 1940. Nurse ferry had her uniform blown off during the bombing but returned to rescue the badge. The square card features the Nightingale Training school badge on a white background.
