Group Visits, Tours and Talks

Online Performative Talk with Florence Nightingale

Even if Covid restrictions mean you cannot visit us now, you can still learn all about Florence Nightingale and her life from your own home, school, or university, while also helping to support the museum through these difficult times.

Hear the story of Florence Nightingale’s life from Florence herself! Learn about her favourite and most unusual pet, why she ended up working at Scutari Hospital during the Crimean War and her lifetime achievements which still influence us today.

Adapted from our popular Meet Miss Nightingale performances normally held at the museum, the interactive performance-based talk will give your group an insight into the life and work of the founder of modern nursing.

We welcome groups from schools, universities, U3A as well as any other groups wishing to book. For primary schools please see our new digital lessons, developed especially for our primary schools.

Platform: Zoom

Activity length: 30-40 minutes

Medium: Interactive performance and presentation

Number of participants: Up to 100

Price: £120 + VAT

Please contact us to discuss the needs of your group and to check availability.
