admin2020-04-02T11:42:45+00:00Suggest the 200th Exhibit Our objects, people and places were suggested by partners from the nursing, scientific and heritage sectors as well as members of the public, our staff and volunteers. We would however like you to nominate a 200th element. Please complete the simple form to tell us what aspect of Nightingale’s achievements or legacy you would like to share. 2020 marks the bicentenary of Florence Nightingale’s birth with celebrations taking place across the globe. Our Museum is proud to be at the centre of these celebrations. Nightingale is respected worldwide for her pioneering role in developing the nursing profession, her statistical work, and her evidence-based approach to healthcare. In honour of her bicentenary the World Health Organisation have named 2020 the Year of the Nurse and Midwife. In our special exhibition, you will find out about objects, people and places which tell interesting stories about Florence’s life and legacy. You’ll discover artefacts from her life, people she both inspired and challenged, and places she helped to shape. There's many more insights too! Please click on the different sections of her famous coxcomb diagram to explore various aspects of her life and legacy. We hope you enjoy exploring! 200 Exhibits on show at the 2020 Exhibition
