Florence Nightingale Museum Trust: Planned building closure.

Following careful consideration of the current course of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we’ve decided that the Florence Nightingale Museum Trust will remain closed until further notice.

We’ve made this decision in the interests of the health and wellbeing of our staff, stakeholders, tenants, contractors and visitors.

While the Florence Nightingale Museum will close, the museum team will continue to conduct as much of our work as we can remotely. You can reach us via email at info@florence-nightingale.co.uk from 10am – 5pm, Mon- Fri.

  • The Florence Nightingale Museum will close to the public at 17:00 GMT on Tuesday 17 March and from Wednesday 18 March all staff will be asked to work from home.All online tickets purchased during the time of the closure will be valid once the museum re-opens.
  • If you would like to discuss a school or group booking, please get in touch with our team at info@florence-nightingale.co.uk referencing the name of your group/school and date of visit in the heading.
  • The Florence’s London Walking Tour on 8th April is CANCELLED. If you purchased a ticket online , our team will be in touch shortly.
  • Visit our online exhibition “Nightingale in 200 Objects, People and Places” to browse our museum collection online.

The Florence Nightingale Museum is an independent charity receiving no income from government or elsewhere. We therefore rely on admissions income, retail sales and donations.
