Museum Highlights Tour

In Celebration of International Nurses Day Weekend

In honour of International Nurses Day and Florence Nightingale’s 205th Birthday the museum is hosting a full weekend of events and on Saturday 10th we will have special tours led by our incredible Collections Manager, Hannah.

On these tours you will learn the story of Florence Nightingale through the objects we have on display in our museum. Hear the incredible histories attached to some of Hannah’s favourite pieces and discover the remarkable life of the ‘mother of modern nursing’.

These special tours will also give greater insight into how the museum came to be and Hannah will be happy to answer any questions on how we continue to care for such an important collection today.

These tours last approximately 30 minutes and are included in admission cost.

Tours are at 12:00pm and 2:00pm
