Hours of Operation : Tuesday-Sunday 10:00am – 5:00pm (Last Entry 4:30pm).

Trace Nightingale’s life from her childhood, her time during the Crimean War, to her reform work upon her return to England. Meet her peculiar pet and see her iconic fanoos lantern.

Be one of the first to see our newest temporary exhibition, In Focus: Nurse Catherine Pine. Pine was the private nurse to Emmeline Pankhurst, her family, and the suffragettes. Her hard work and dedication resulted in her being awarded a suffragette medal, which was lost for many years. This medal is now on display within the space.

You can also learn about the amazing work being led by nurses in the field of design within our exhibition, Healing Spaces: Healthcare Design Past, Present and Future.

With interactive family trails and events we are the perfect spot to visit for people of all ages!

If you want even more value some of our special events are also included in this 2 for 1 voucher! A special International Women’s Day Object Handling session on the 7th & 8th March, a Special Topics Talk on the research behind our newest exhibition on the 12th March, and our Meet Miss Nightingale Performances on the 14th March are all included. More information can be found on the What’s On Page of our website.
