Monthly Museum Late

The Mr. Bismarck Letters

Can’t make it to the museum during our normal weekday hours?

Join us at one of our themed monthly museum lates for an opportunity to explore our exhibitions after hours! These extended openings allow visitors to see the space in a unique and hands-on way!

This month’s late will also include a special talk will be given by museum’s Director, Laura Sharpe on the recent acquisition and display of newly discovered Florence Nightingale Letter! Nightingale had a deep love for animals and owned over 60 cats in her lifetime. The letter focuses on Mr. Bismarck, one of her favourite cats!

The talk will start at 6:30pm BST and will last around 45 minutes with time for questions at the end and is included in all general admission tickets.

A bar will be open starting at 5:00pm serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offering the perfect accompaniment to your visit.

All tickets purchased for the monthly museum lates are general admission tickets and will be valid for a full year. All general admission tickets (including those of repeat visitors) will be accepted for these monthly Thursday evening lates.
