Holle Redpath née Matthias

Inspired by Florence Nightingale, a young German, Holle Redpath, had her mind set to not only become a nurse, but do her training in England, back in 1986. From then on, caring for others always played part in her career choices – from being in mobile elderly care and becoming deputy head officer to then choosing to go into palliative care.

Nowadays, she chooses to spend her free time and vacation broadening her perspective on what nursing and palliative care looks like around the world. Just like Florence, Holle values hands-on practice and training, and getting a first hand look. She visited a palliative care facility in England and also flew across the globe to visit an elder care facility all the way in New Zealand.
