Florence Nightingale and Her Animals Tour

“A small pet is often an excellent companion for the sick”

Notes on Nursing, 1860

Florence Nightingale truly loved animals, and believed that they aided heavily in the recovery process. She also had a few very peculiar pets in her lifetime!

When you come to one of these tours you will enter the world of Nightingale and the Victorian Era through some of the import animals in the story.

Tours will be held at 11:30am & 3:30pm and are included in all general admission tickets.

There will be additional tours given at our Monthly Museum late on Thursday 30th October at 6:00pm & 7:00pm.
