Carol L. Williamson
RN
From Carol about her nursing career.
“I can tell you I believe my nursing ability was a God given talent meant to be shared. I love patient care, teaching other health care workers and knowing there was a really good reason to be away from my family. In every type of nursing or place that I practiced I can remember something that made me believe I was there at that time due to Gods plan.”
Upon her retirement her team wanted to honour her and memorialize her career in the nursing field as she touched those she not only cared for but those she worked with.
“When we think of Florence Nightingale and what she stood for, Carol is a prime example of what exemplary nursing and God blessed compassion looks like. She encouraged those around her to do their best and she brought out the best in her team’s nursing practice. She is more than a boss, she is friend and sister in Christ who developed and mentored those around her personally and professionally to be the best version of themselves. Many of us have seen her as the person in our career who shaped us. We wish her a happy and blessed retirement and pray we can continue what she brought to nursing in our own careers”
