Magic Lantern Show :
Victorian Halloween
The Florence Nightingale Museum is excited to host lanternists, Jeremy and Carolyn Brooker, as they present a bespoke show that captures the magic of a Victorian Halloween!
Combining original glass slides from the 19th and 20th century paired alongside modern slides of their own creations the show will feature an authentic triple magic lantern, combining three projections in a single device, allowing them to present a fast moving show that features some of the most spectacular effects the lantern can produce. This traditional technology was popular during the Victorian Era and can still captivate and delight audiences of all ages today!
Shows will run at 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm, and 8:00pm and last approximately 30 minutes, with an hour after each show to explore the museum.
Family Friendly performances will be held at 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Adult only performances will be at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
A bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the 6:00pm and 8:00pm performances.
