Meet Miss Nightingale

Thursday 13th August marks the 116th anniversary of Nightingale’s death, join us for a special performance sharing the life and work of the pioneer of modern nursing, as well as celebrating the incredible legacy she left behind.

Hear our Miss Nightingale share in her own words how she overcame societal pressures to become a nurse, why she went to the Crimean War, how she earned the nickname ‘the Lady with the Lamp’. Immerse yourself in her story while surrounded in a museum filled with real artefacts and key moments in nursing history.

These performances are free with admission and last approximately 30 minutes.

Performances are at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and 6:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online or in-person.

Tickets purchased through the museum are annual passes valid for repeat visits within 12 months.
