Description
This mug is the perfect present for the nurse or healthcare worker in your life, or maybe even for you! It features images of nurses through time, from Florence herself, complete with her per owl Athena, her lamp and a copy of “Notes on Nursing”, through to a modern-day nurse working in the NHS. The design was created by Alison Gardnier, a Southsea based designer and illustrator, in 2020 to celebrate Florence Nightingale’s bicentenary.
Each mug takes 7 days to make; it is cast in a mould and is finished by hand by highly skilled glazers and lithographers in Stoke-on-Trent.
