Peter Quick joined the Royal Air Force in 1999 after 15 years as an paediatric emergency nurse in the NHS. His career would take him all around the world with the aeromedical evacuation team, peacekeeping roles in Bosnia, and deployments to wartime Iraq and Afghanistan.
