The Florence Nightingale Museum is reopening to the public on Thursday 12th May!

Following our closure for most of the past two years we are pleased to open our doors on Nightingale’s 202nd Birthday.

The museum will be reopening for five days a week, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am-5pm.

You will be able to see the Nightingale in 200 Objects, People & Places exhibition, which includes Florence Nightingale’s famous lamp, as well as a stuffed version of her pet owl Athena which she used to carry in her pocket. We have also been working on updating some of the displays in the museum, looking further into Nightingale’s statistical work and bringing new objects out of our store.

Tickets will be available on the door.
