Colonel (Retired) David Bates ARRC

David enjoyed a 40-year career in the British Army, deploying in diverse environments around the world and rising to the role of Director Army Nursing Services. He is an expert in disaster response and humanitarian action, and is now training the next generation of healthcare professionals at the University of Cumbria.
