Coming from a family with strong links to the military, when Philippa Bullock decided to train as a nurse in her 30s, joining the Royal Air Force was a natural choice. Now studying at the Defence School of Healthcare Education at Birmingham City University, she is part of a tri-service cohort who learn from each other and their civilian colleagues alike.
