Florence's Birthday and International Nurses Day

Friday 12th May

This May, the Florence Nightingale Museum will celebrate the 197th birthday of the Lady with the Lamp.

Come along to meet Miss Nightingale during one of our interactive performances and explore nursing through the ages from Victorian England until today.

We will celebrate the key roles held by nurses and how their profession has evolved until today. Come and take a stroll around our pop up exhibition inside the Gallery to try on nurses' uniforms from different periods in history. There will also be an opportunity to explore artefacts to discover the story behind Florence Nightingale.

Free with admission - no booking required.

We advice groups of 10 or more to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please be aware we may have limited capacity for large groups. For further information about group bookings please contact the museum on 020 7188 4400 or email Hajra Williams Hajra@florence-nightingale.co.uk.
