Visitors can hear Florence’s story in her own words through audio hot spots around the museum. The audio tour is included in the admission price. An introduction to the museum for your group costs £50.

Hiring the Museum

The new Florence Nightingale Museum is the perfect venue for hosting receptions or holding small meetings, seminars and lectures. Hire of the whole museum costs £225 (+VAT) per hour with a minimum two hour hire. The multifunctional/meeting room costs £125 (+VAT) per hour with a minimum two hour hire.

Gift Aid

Are you a UK taxpayer? Make your admission fee to the Florence Nightingale go even further by giving through Gift Aid.

The Museum can benefit from Tax Relief by claiming back from the Inland Revenue the basic rate of 28p tax for every £1.00 you give us. Once you sign up for Gift Aid* you are entitled to one year’s free entry to the Museum, enabling you to enjoy our special exhibitions and events again and again.

*To sign up for Gift Aid, the you must  be a UK taxpayer and the amount you pay in income or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the Museum will claim in the tax year.

How to find us

The Museum is a short walk from the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and attractions along the South Bank. We are located in the grounds of St Thomas’ Hospital, at parking level.

The nearest underground stations are Westminster (on the District and Circle line) or Waterloo (on the Northern line).

The nearest railway station in London Waterloo.

Bus routes include 12, 53, 76, 77, 148, 159, 211, 341, 363, 381, 543, 507, C10, RV1

Public parking is available at St Thomas’ Hospital. The Museum is located in the Congestion Charging Zone and there is a machine in the car park where you can pay the zone fee.

Refreshments

There is a Mark and Spencers cafe and shop in St Thomas' Hospital along with a variety of other refreshment areas.

Access

The Museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users and has a wheelchair accessible toilet. There is a loop system for the hard of hearing.
