Stories of the World: London 2010 - 2012The Florence Nightingale Museum is delighted to have been longlisted for the Clore Museum Learning Award this year, for our project Our Generation's Re-interpretation. Supported by the Clore Duffield Foundation and Art Fund, the £10,000 award recognises quality, impact and innovation in using museums and galleries for learning activities and initiatives. Our Generation's Re-interpretation took place in July and August 2010, and involved working with youth participants on a reinterpretation project, exploring the museum’s collection and how it can remain relevant today. The audio guide the Youth Forum created is available to all visitors to the museum. The shortlist will be announced on 14 May 2012.For more information please see www.artfundprize.org.uk/ |
