In the museum collection we have over 100 letters written by Florence, with a further 700 letters deposited with the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA). The Museum has been awarded a grant of £20,000 by the Wellcome Trust to conserve, transcribe, digitise, fully catalogue and publish both collections of important primary source material. In 2012 we will bring you an up to date, transcribed and fully catalogued collection of Florence Nightingale letters.
